Oh, those pom-poms, I love them! But how do you make a pom-pom? They’re not only super fun to make, but you also need hardly anything for it. Truly an ideal crafting project. Take some time to read the instructions carefully and definitely take a look at the photos for some extra help. And the fun part is, you can make them as big or small as you like. Perfect for any celebration, right? So grab your yarn and scissors and get started. Wishing you lots of crafting fun!
Here’s what you need:
Crepe paper
Yarn
Scissors
How to make a pom-pom easily
Take ten sheets of crepe paper, each about 40 x 40 centimeters. Stack the ten layers on top of each other. Fold them alternately into wide strips of four centimeters. Continue folding until the entire sheet is pleated.
Grab the paper in the middle and pinch it together. Wrap a piece of string around the middle and tie a knot. Fold the ends of the strips towards each other. Then, cut the ends into a pointed shape.
Then, fluff out the ends to create a large ball. If you’ve done everything correctly, your pompom should look like this.
I’m sure you’ll enjoy making pompoms as much as I do. Click here to take a look at my other fun crafting projects.
